Zwei Wochen Ambisonic Summer Lab im sächsisch-böhmischen Grenzraum. Eine Kooperation von phonon~ und dem KulturOrt Heymannbaude.
Es geht darum, zu verstehen, wie ein mehrkanaliges Soundsystem funktioniert, das Klang aus allen Richtungen wiedergibt – und wie man Sound dafür gestaltet. Gebaut, kalibriert und bespielt wird das System vor Ort.
Begleitet wird das Ganze von Inputs zahlreicher Expert:innen und Künstler:innen, darunter Manu Mitterhuber (OTTOsonics), Ida Hiršenfelder und Jakob Gille.

Auf dem Programm: Konzerte, Workshops, Vorträge und gemütliches Beisammensein.

Auch das Fabmobil kommt vorbei, mit einem Angebot für Jüngere und jung gebliebene - Details folgen bald hier!

Dva týdny Ambisonic Summer Labu v sasko-českém pohraničí. Společný projekt organizací phonon~ a KulturOrt Heymannbaude.

Cílem je porozumět tomu, jak funguje vícekanálový zvukový systém, který dokáže reprodukovat zvuk ze všech směrů – a jak pro něj vytvářet a komponovat zvukový obsah. Systém bude přímo na místě společně sestaven, kalibrován a uveden do provozu.

Program doplní přednášky, prezentace a setkání s řadou odborníků a umělců, mimo jiné s Manu Mitterhuberem (OTTOsonics), Idou Hiršenfelder a Jakobem Gillem.

Na programu jsou koncerty, workshopy, přednášky i příjemné neformální posezení.

Two weeks of the Ambisonic Summer Lab in the Saxon-Bohemian border region. A collaboration between phonon~ and KulturOrt Heymannbaude.

The lab is about understanding how a multichannel sound system works – one that reproduces sound from all directions – and how to create and design sound for it. The system will be built, calibrated, and explored on site by the participants.

The program is accompanied by contributions from numerous experts and artists, including Manu Mitterhuber (OTTOsonics), Ida Hiršenfelder, and Jakob Gille.

The schedule includes concerts, workshops, lectures, and plenty of opportunities for informal exchange and convivial gatherings.

The Fabmobil will also join us with a special program for younger participants and the young at heart – more details will be announced here soon!
